Erectile Dysfunction Treatment in Phoenix, AZ

Maybe the little blue pill used to work and doesn’t anymore. Maybe it works, but the headaches and the planning ahead are getting old. Either way, you’re in very good company.

ED is incredibly common, and it’s often more than a bedroom problem. We find out why it’s happening, and then treat it from every angle, not just with another prescription.

Your Penis Is an Early Warning System

An erection is mostly a blood-flow event. The arteries in the penis are much smaller than the ones around your heart, so when blood vessels start to struggle, the penis often notices first. ED can show up years before heart disease does.

That makes ED one of the most useful warning signs in men’s health, and one of the most ignored. It affects about half of men between 40 and 70, and most of them never get it properly evaluated.

What Causes ED?

Usually a mix of things:

  • Blood flow. Narrowing or stiffening arteries, from the same process that causes heart disease.
  • Diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol.
  • Low testosterone.
  • Medications, including some blood pressure medicines and antidepressants.
  • Smoking, alcohol, poor sleep, and sleep apnea.
  • Stress and performance anxiety, which often show up after a few bad experiences, even when the original cause was physical.

Finding out which of these apply to you decides what will actually work.

How We Find the Cause

Bloodwork that looks past the penis: testosterone, blood sugar, cholesterol, thyroid, and other markers of cardiovascular and metabolic health.
An in-office ultrasound that measures actual blood flow in the penis. It tells us whether the issue is blood getting in, blood staying in, or something else, which changes which treatments make sense.
Then we lay out the options, what the evidence says about each, and what we’d recommend. If your results point to a heart or vascular issue, we’ll coordinate with a cardiologist.

Treatment Options for ED

  • Oral medications. Sildenafil and tadalafil, on demand or daily. We often lean toward daily low-dose tadalafil, which is also FDA-approved for urinary symptoms from an enlarged prostate and may support blood vessel health.
  • Vacuum devices. Low-tech, drug-free, and effective. Also useful for maintaining tissue health.
  • Injections. Medications like Trimix work for many men when pills don’t. We teach you how in the clinic and set your dose carefully.
  • Focused shockwave therapy. We use the Storz Duolith, a true focused shockwave device, to stimulate new blood vessel growth in the penis. Randomized trials support it, especially for mild to moderate ED caused by blood flow problems. Unlike pills, the goal is to improve function, not just get you through tonight.
  • PRP injections. Platelet-rich plasma from your own blood to support tissue healing. Promising and understudied, and we’ll be straight with you about where the evidence stands.
  • Botox injections. Used to relax the smooth muscle in the penis and improve blood flow. Promising and understudied.
  • Nanofat. An add-on regenerative option. Also promising and understudied.
  • The basics. Exercise, sleep, alcohol, and blood sugar all matter. Exercise in particular has real evidence for improving ED.
  • Referral when needed. For men who need more, a penile implant can work very well, and we’ll refer you to a urologist we trust.

Let’s Find Out What’s Going On

The ED Complete Program

A comprehensive health exam, full bloodwork, VO2 max testing, body composition analysis, and an in-office penile Doppler ultrasound. The plan is built on your actual results, and you leave knowing a lot more about your health than your erections.

Six to eight sessions of focused shockwave therapy, three rounds of PRP injections, and Botox injections, aimed at improving blood flow and tissue health over time.

Oral medication, a vacuum device, hormone optimization, and medical management throughout the six-month program, so you’re not waiting on results to have a sex life.

A nighttime erection monitoring device tracks your erectile function before and after treatment, so we can see what’s working with data instead of guesswork. Nanofat can be added for men who want another regenerative option.

When Will I Notice a Difference?

Oral medications and injections work the same day. Shockwave, PRP, and Botox work by improving blood flow and tissue health, so their results build gradually, typically over the weeks to months after a treatment series.

If something isn’t helping, we adjust the plan.

Results vary. Your plan and expectations will be based on your own evaluation.

Why ED Is Worth Taking Seriously

ED is rarely just about sex. When it’s caused by blood flow problems, it can be one of the earliest signs that the arteries elsewhere in your body, including your heart, need attention.

Treating ED well means looking for that, not just writing a prescription. Sometimes the most important thing an ED visit does is catch something else early.

Is ED just part of getting older?

It gets more common with age, but it isn’t inevitable, and it’s often a sign of something worth treating, like blood flow or blood sugar.

It can be. Blood flow problems often show up in the penis before the heart. That’s why our evaluation looks at your cardiovascular health, too.

Most men describe a tapping sensation, and it doesn’t require numbing. Sessions are quick, with no downtime.

No. Many men keep using medication while restorative treatments do their work, and some find they need less of it over time.

Completely. Your visits and records are kept confidential, and we don’t share anything about your care without your permission.
