PRP Injections for ED in Phoenix, AZ

PRP uses your own blood to deliver concentrated growth factors into the penis, with the goal of supporting tissue repair and blood flow.

It’s one of the most talked-about ED treatments right now. Here’s what it is, what it isn’t, and how we use it.

How PRP Works

We draw a small amount of your blood and spin it in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets. Platelets carry growth factors that signal tissue to repair itself and grow new blood vessels. That platelet-rich plasma is then injected into the erectile tissue.

We use EmCyte, a medical-grade PRP system. It’s made from your own blood, with just a small amount of anticoagulant used during processing.

What PRP Is, and What It Isn’t

PRP is a regenerative treatment aimed at the health of the erectile tissue. It isn’t a filler, and it isn’t a size treatment, whatever the internet says. It also works best as part of a plan, not as a one-shot fix.

Is PRP Right for You?

We start with health testing and an in-office penile Doppler ultrasound, so treatment is aimed at the actual problem. More on how we evaluate ED.
Shockwave stimulates new blood vessel growth, and PRP delivers growth factors to support that repair. That’s why we use them together.
PRP for ED is promising and understudied. We’ll go over the evidence, the risks, and whether it makes sense for you.

What the Procedure Is Like

Numbing goes on first, and we draw your blood and prepare the PRP while it takes effect. The injections take just a few minutes, using a very fine needle. Most men feel pressure more than pain.

Plan on about an hour, most of it waiting for the numbing. In our program, PRP is done in three rounds, spaced several weeks apart.

After Your PRP

Mild soreness, swelling, or bruising for a day or two is common.
Most men go right back to work and daily life. We’ll give you specific instructions about sex and exercise.
Bruising and soreness are the most common. Because it’s made from your own blood, allergic reactions are very unlikely. Infection is rare.
Call us if you have pain that’s getting worse, fever, or swelling or redness that keeps spreading.

When Will I Notice a Difference?

PRP works by supporting tissue repair, so results build gradually over the weeks to months after treatment, alongside the other parts of your plan.

Results vary. Your plan and expectations will be based on your own evaluation.

What the Evidence Says

PRP has a solid track record in other areas of medicine, like orthopedics and wound healing. For ED, it’s promising and understudied: early research and plenty of real-world experience, but not yet the large trials we’d like to see. We’ll be straight with you about realistic expectations.

Is this the P-Shot?

The P-Shot® is a trademarked brand of PRP for ED. We don’t use the brand name, but we do offer PRP injections for ED as part of our complete program.

No. PRP isn’t a size treatment, and there’s no good evidence that it increases size. Be skeptical of anyone who promises that.

With numbing, most men feel pressure more than pain.

In our program, three rounds spaced several weeks apart.

Yes, and that’s how we use it: alongside shockwave, Botox, and medication.
